News update – September 2010

Hi! The Conversation Café is still open, every Saturday, 11am – 1pm. It would be great to see new people at the café as numbers are low at the moment, and if we don’t get some more soon we will have to consider closing!

The group is now open to anyone. You can learn English, make new friends, play games, enjoy teas, coffees and cold drinks, and make use of the internet. And it is all free!

About the Conversation Café

The Conversation Café is a weekly meeting for asylum seekers and refugees in Dewsbury. You can practise speaking English with native English speakers. You can play games, enjoy tea and coffee, and make new friends. We will do specific activities to help you improve your English.

The Café is open 11am-1pm, Saturday mornings, at Dewsbury Evangelical Church, Crackenedge Lane, Dewsbury. We are close to the Market and the Station Hotel.

Dewsbury Market is on at the same time as the Conversation Café. Why don’t you do your shopping at the Market and then come over to the Conversation Café?
